Oregon School Breaks 2026–2027
The four Oregon examples align on March 22–26 for spring break in 2027, but they start and finish the school year differently. Thanksgiving also varies between a full week and a shorter Wednesday–Friday closure.

Calendar details that affect days off
Salem-Keizer Public Schools
Start is staggered (grades 6 and 9 on September 8, grades 1-5, 7, 8 and 10-12 on September 9, kindergarten September 16); the last day is June 16 for K-5 and June 17 for grades 6-11.
Beaverton School District
The calendar states it is subject to change based on contract negotiations and notes first-day dates may be modified by grade level; it lists June 14-18 as potential makeup days.
Hillsboro School District
Board adopted October 28, 2025; grades 1-6, 7 and 9 start September 1 and all students are in by September 2, with June 14-15 as possible weather makeup days.
North Clackamas School District
Dates are from the high school calendar updated 6/18/26; the elementary calendar starts grades 1-5 on September 8 and kindergarten on September 14, and ends June 17, 2027, while middle school ends June 21.
Recess dates follow the linked calendars; adjacent staff days and holidays can extend a student's time away. “See official calendar” means that field has not been verified here. Recheck the source for revisions before arranging care or travel.
Shared spring dates hide grade and district differences
Beaverton and Hillsboro list June 10 as the last day, while Salem-Keizer’s ending is June 16 for K–5 and June 17 for grades 6–11. North Clackamas extends its high-school calendar to June 21, with a different elementary ending. Salem-Keizer’s September opening is staggered by grade, and its kindergarten starts later still. The district-specific and grade-specific notes are therefore essential when arranging care for siblings or comparing a June trip with another Oregon family.
