Oklahoma School Breaks 2026–2027

Tulsa, Moore and Union put spring break on March 15–19, 2027, but that agreement does not extend to every day off. Mustang begins its published spring break earlier, and the four districts finish the school year on different May dates.

Published student dates for the school systems below. These examples do not cover every school in Oklahoma. See the notes for staggered starts, staff days and calendar exceptions.

Calendar details that affect days off

Tulsa Public Schools

Board approved March 24, 2025; the May 28 last day includes three weather days and may be adjusted, and fall break is October 14-16.

Moore Public Schools

Board of Education approved November 10, 2025; fall break is October 15-16.

Union Public Schools

Classes resume January 5, 2027, and the calendar includes five snow days (May 19-21, 24 and 25) that could extend the year.

Mustang Public Schools

Board approved December 8, 2025; fall break is October 14-16, and a third snow day makeup would move the last day to May 20.

Matching March weeks, different May endings

For a family coordinating Tulsa and Moore students, the March vacation lines up while summer does not: Tulsa lists May 28 and Moore May 21. Union’s winter vacation continues through January 4, with classes resuming January 5. Mustang’s calendar also flags a possible extra make-up day. Those distinctions matter when arranging care across households or booking the first week of summer camp.
