Broward and Palm Beach add different days beside spring break
Broward has an employee planning day March 19, before the spring week; Palm Beach has a teacher work/professional development day March 29, after it. Both identify January 4 as a student-free staff day after winter recess. Broward’s scheduled last day is May 28 with early release, while Palm Beach’s secondary calendar ends May 27. These small differences affect the practical length of a family trip and the first day of summer care.
